During both summers spent at Amplified I penned weekly blog posts on the Launch Blog for interns.

My second summer, as a supplement to the intern blogs I also wrote several industry related blogs.

I have been so blessed with the opportunity to return as the Amplified Digital Intern for a second year. I gained so much knowledge and developed several of my skills the first summer, and my second year has certainly exceeded all expectations.

In my position as the digital marketing intern, I worked diligently with several of Amplified's teams including the sales and strategy teams. I worked on several projects including pre-call client research for sales, client facing case study development, and numerous blogging avenues.

This site is a portfolio of some of my research and work from my time spent at Amplified!

studies
I compiled a large group of case studies as a second year intern.

Information regarding the campaigns was retrieved from Salesforce documentation and proposal development.

Statistics were taken from documented monthly reports and industry trends were determined based on Google benchmarks.

I compiled all of this information with the agency's most successful clients.

research
One of the more rigorous projects that I worked on my second summer with Amplified had a lot to do with the ratio of proposed products to sales closes.

I was given a spread sheet of clients and then went through our server to locate the proposals and list what products were recommended for each company.

I then would run a report in Salesforce that would identify the products that were run for each company per fiscal period, and document those.

Lastly, I would document the ratio of products sold that were or were not proposed. Below is a statement on how the data is being used internally.

"This allows our management team to determine which sales reps may need further training, and where Amplified might focus re-deploying Strategy team members based on workload to sales closes and total dollar values."

One of the first projects that I worked on as a first year intern was lead research using software like AdMall and Spyfu.

I have become more sophisticated and insightful in this research throughout my two summers spent at Amplified.

The information gathered was used to determine the appropriate products for these clients.

Check out a sample of this research below. This particular lead was a community college.
One of the perks of being an agency that also functions under the Lee Enterprises jurisdiction is the opportunity to assist in event support with our sister company, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

I was able to assist in the set up of the Sports on Tap event that was held downtown at the Missouri Athletic Club, as well as the Top Workplaces event that was held at the Palladium.

The Top Workplaces event was especially important to Amplified, as they were the awards sponsor and also had a featured drink at the open bar. It is one of the most successful events of the year!

relations
During my second year as an intern, I was an active member of the employee relations committee.

This committee was implemented in an effort to improve the culture of the work environment at Amplified Digital.

The committee planned and executed themes for monthly all agency meetings, as well as scheduling office activities like potlucks and painting parties. An internal newsletter was implemented as well as an employee nomination and spotlight program.
As a member of this committee, I designed and developed a logo for our employee nomination program called the High Five Award.
Along with my industry blogs, I published weekly intern blog posts that worked as a reflection on what I have learned.

Often these blogs revolve around larger life lessons that I have learned throughout the week or my time at Amplified in general, but they are some of the most important lessons I've learned!
